LUKIMBI DIGITAL VIDEO & PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION
Dear Lukimbi Guest,
We, the Lukimbi team, have the pleasure of inviting you to take part in our exciting Digital Video and Still Photography Competition of footage captured during your stay at Lukimbi.
The competition is intended to add another fascinating element to your stay at Lukimbi. It will allow you to show off your expertise as a videographer or photographer on the Internet and who knows, you could be one of our winners!
How do I enter?
Video or digital still photography taken by you during your stay at Lukimbi can be submitted to us via:
- Email: Send material to david@lukimbi.com. If you are submitting your material via email,
digital photographs will only be accepted if they are JPG, GIF or PNG files types and are less than 2MB in size. Likewise, video files sent via email will only be accepted
if they are less than 6MB (please use your computer software to reduce the file sizes).
- Videos on YouTube: Load your video onto our YouTube.com groups (more detailed instructions are available here)
- Videos or Images on Facebook: Load your videos or images onto
our Facebook groups: Lukimbi Safari Lodge (more detailed
instructions are available here)
- Mail Postage: Post a CD with your videos/images to:

Prizes
- Prizes will be awarded every 3 months, at the end of March, June, September and December, in two categories:
- video and
- still photography
- In each category the winner, second and third places will receive $80, $50 and $30 worth of Amazon.com vouchers respectively.
How will I know if I have won?
- A decision will be made within two weeks after the end of the 3-month period.
- Winners and all other participants will be notified by email.
- Winners' names and winning footage will also be published on the Lukimbi website and included in the lodge web newsletter.
Submission guidelines - please include:
- A description for your video e.g. A pack of Wild dogs seen at Lukimbi Safari Lodge in the Kruger National Park in South Africa
- When the footage was taken
- Where the footage was taken: At Lukimbi Safari Lodge in the Kruger National Park in South Africa
- Who took the footage and their email address.
- Any other interesting comments you may have about the footage
Conditions and Legal Disclaimer
- Each person will be limited to a total of 10 submissions of video and photographs per 3 month competition.
- By submitting your material to the competition you entitle Lukimbi to use your material for our marketing initiatives. If your material is used in any way you will be accredited as the author of the material.
- The judge’s decision on the winners is final.
